Hey all I'm actually building the MiG15 Tamiya model i reviewed a few years ago! i have found the cockpit and engine simplistic .... even so, the engine goes together well. I am not sure how much fuselage i should leave clear, because Tamiya in all its wisdom haven't given me any cannons, just the barrels. On a clear edition, this is DUMB.
Has anyone else built this kit>?

Come on guys.... anyone? Perhaps you know of a resin manufacturer that produces updates for a 1/48 MiG 15?

Hey, there, ColtM4! it really is a crappy kit? I was wanting to do this one too!
Well, here are some detail parts i found on hannants.co.uk:

(Aires) MiG-15 details Engine, cockpit, guns etc (designed to be used with the Tamiya kits)
Aires also makes a cockpit detail set, along with another manufacturer, True Details

88 Hi Tech Makes MiG-15 Ailerons, elevators, rudder, weighted wheels (designed to be used with the Tamiya kits)
