I don't normally like to knock kits but...
I got all excited when I saw the heading over on the modelling news.
A 1/18th UH-1B!!
I was almost salivating untill I saw the sprue shots!
Who designed that and worse still didn't anyone look at a real Huey or even an existing kit to get an idea what one looks like?
Is there a single part that is even close to a UH-1B?
Gonna save my pennies for Kittyhawk's 1/35th UH-1B and hope its better. LOL
Keith.
I think I need to lay down now.

These are repops of the old 21st Century Toys molds. They are primarily toys albeit better detailed than most toys. However, from a modern modeling perspective they leave a lot to be desired and are more a base for scratch-building.

Yup, 21st Century Toys, with the emphasis on toys. They are not really scale models at all. This one isn't even a UH-1B, but closer to a C model, sort of.
Merit (associated w/Hobby Boss) also offers it as a finished "model".
Not worth the money in my book.
