Hello to Everyone,
Wandering away from my comfort zone to seek information on Hasegawa kits. Would like your opinions of Hasegawa 1/48 and 1/32 aircraft kits.
I'm a bit more interested in the 1/32 kits. Was at the hobby shop the other day and saw (can't remember for sure) F-4, F-15, F-16 and F/A-18?
I'm sorry, but don't have any kit numbers. How is the quality of Hasgawa? Any difference in older and newer kits? Any difference in 1/48 (quality wise) from 1/32?
Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks for taking time to look and or respond.
Regards,
Joe

hi joe, I have mostly hasegawa kits, IMHO they compare very nicely with Tamiya kits, usually hasegawa kits have more parts, but again both are at the tops of their fields for detail and fit quality, I have some older hase kits, how old is unknown to me, got them off ebay and from trading online, the kit decals are yellowed if that means anything, and the quality is just as good as the newer ones I have purchased. I would highly recommend trying a hasegawa kit if you like tamiya. cant help with the 1/32nd kits as I dont have any, but the hase F-18 in 48th is one of the best available kits of this aircraft, although the Academy F-18 in 32nd won the fine scale modeler kit of the year.

I can't comment on 1/32 kits by Hasegawa but I agree with Bender, the 1/48 kits are top quality. I believe Revell have released some of the 1/48 Hasegawa kits [along with some Dragon and Pro Modeller] under their label.
