Here goes, after a lengthy discussion I've opted to post my experience in the build of the Tamiya 1/48th V-1 "Buzz Bomb" where a photo of the model is displayed in my photos.
Tamiya states that the kit is in fact in the "Aircraft Models" category as #52.
The kit is made up of the fuselage and wings and motor assembly and cart. All of which went together with out any issues. I painted the model and cart with hand painted acrylics, weathered with pencil lead and displayed the whole thing on a diorama base. I did not concentrate on detailing as there is not much to do and the paint on most bombs is a sad affair according to reference photos.
