Nobody appears to do one. It's a simple enough shape that you can probably squash-mould your own.

Maybe you'll need to build this one then?

Would make for an interesting diorama.
An incomplete airframe being inspected by curious Allied troops. I think it's the best you could do if the kit is incomplete.
Looking forward to seeing what you make of it.

Hopefully Revell will reissue it in the future.

Hi Sean

It could be worth posting in Kitmaker's Buy, Sell or Trade section - because there's a chance that someone with a 1:32 He 162 missed your posts.

Failing that, I reckon you should reconsider Jessie's earlier suggestion about plug-moulding a canopy. It's not as hard as many imagine - and the shape of the He 162's canopy is virtually ideal for a first outing.

Scratch-building takes patience and skill, but there's unique satisfaction when it works - plus an enormous sense of confidence to be gained, because you'll begin to view obstacles as an opportunity to get creative, rather than a reason to give up.

Start simple (like here), but it will open up a whole world of modelling possibilities.

All the best

Hi again Sean

Don't be defeatist - try plug-moulding - you'll be surprised how quickly you get good results! It's cheap to do and, to coin a phrase - nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Thinking beyond the He 162, mastering the technique will put you in a great place for future projects.

All the best
