Really nice job on both kits
The Corsair is one of my all time favorite planes

Hi Doug

Nice job on both of them!

It's great to see the old Revell Corsair still holding its own after all these years. I built one when I was a kid, back around 1972 (Oops! Giving away my age!)...

One suggestion I'd make is to flatten the bottom of the tyres a little, to suggest the weight of the aircraft - still quite do-able on a finished kit, and I think it'll be worth the extra effort.

Thanks for the kind words, and yes I did miss identify the Corsair, of course it's Revell not Monogram. The corsair is one of my favorite WWII a/c. I too built it when I was a kid (around 1980). I was actually going to flatten the bottom of the tire but forgot. Oh well I'll get around to it.

I'll be starting the Academy P-40C Tomahawk next. I was going to do PE and aftermarket cockpit but came into money shortage so I'm going to try to scratchbuild the cockpit while still using most of the original cockpit from the kit.
