Hi All !
I am about to start my second Tamiya A6M5 Zero. The first was painted in the standard Japanese Navy Green and Grey. Now I would like a different
color scheme for this one. I like the Light Grey of the early Zero's, or the mottled paint scheme's I've seen, but don't think that this would be historlally accurate for a late Zero.
Any Ideas?? Web sites with pictures??
Thanks All!!

Hi,

Best place to post your question is at:

http://www.j-aircraft.org/bbs/navy_config.pl

Lots of knowledgeable folks there. Then when you decide on the color scheme, you'll find accurate Japanese aircraft paints from us at:

http://www.whiteensignmodels.com/brochure/colourcoats1.htm

There's no minimum order, and we ship worldwide.

Hi Seaman
Thanks! I'll be sure to check it out! In the meantime I've started a Fw190A-8
in 1/32" scale from Hasegawa, and I have the Fw190A-5 on order once it's released. It's very nice, and there are no shortage of color schemes for Luftwaffe aircraft.

Hi Tek2,

Good luck with the Zero scheme. As for the FW, well, we've got 21 accurate Luftwaffe colors in the range.
