Why aren't there 1/35 scale planes?

Hi guys,

Well, I'm looking at the GreatModels catalog and I see 1/48 and 1/32 scales, but no 1/35! This upsets me, because a lot of fine armor, people, and other related models are plentiful in 1/35. If I wanted to make a diorama or a "scene," the planes would be different in size than the rest of the scene.

So is there a valid reason for skipping 1/35 on planes?

Yes there probably is a good reason for this, but I'd asy it has to do with the amount of time Model planes have been around, and the older still widley use scale system for model plane's and cars. As far as you dio problem there isn't one. I would have you look in the 1/32nd scale section for all your aircraft needs and there you will find all the dio material you need for a nice big aerodrome from WW2. Furthermore, the size difference is minimal. 32nd scale is only 1.xxx% bigger than 35th so you're fine useing them together. HTH STUG

1/32 should do nicely, as the difference in scale is icredibly minimal. I've seen many examples of AC and armor dios at a few hobby shos I'd been to with Stug, and it wasn't all that noticable Happy hunting.

I've never compared them side to side, so I have no way of knowing.

Thanks for the replies!
