Hi guys! I saw this at the Tamiya Japanese site RAH-66 in 1/72

Could it be a rebox of Italeri/ Revell? Or a new mold? The price here in the Philippines costs about 700 or roughly 12 USD. Pretty expensive for a 1/72 craft.

LOL,
What a timely release. Who doesn't want a cancelled multi-billion project in their collection? (and YES I do have a M247 Sgt. York sitting in my pile of unbilt armor kits)

Tamiya has released a few Italeri kits under their label for the japanese market, so my guess it that it's a Italeri kit.

Are thinking about ordering the Tamiya JAS-39 Gripen just for fun (already have two of the Italeri kit...)

Aww.... oh well, it's a 1/72 no wonder this could be a rebox.

It is a rebox of the Italeri kits.....Tamiya doesn't produce any 1/72 kits themselves. Their box covers for them are nicer though!!

Sure they do Viper!

Mosquito, Corsair, Mustang, etc...

They just don't do modern stuff in1/72!

Last time I saw a Tamiya Catalogue they had no 1/72 aircraft of any kind in it....1/48 and 1/32 but no 1/72.

I was under the impression that all of their 1/72 aircraft were reboxes of Italeri kits and were only available on the Asian market and not available boxed by Tamiya in North America.

It's an Italeri Kit in a Tamiya box, only a handfull of 72 Tamiya stuff is their own, all their latest additions to 72 scale are Italeri kits.
