Airfix Short Sunderland Questions

I have a few questions on the Airfix Sunderland.

How is the detail in the kit? Good or poor?

How big in inches is it?

And are there any problems with it? Fit wise, or otherwise?

This is an old kit, so detail and fit is not up to modern standards. So long as you remember and accept that, then it's not too bad. Some joints will need a lot of filling and sanding, and some parts do not have a positive location.
I made one earlier this year, and with only a little extra work it's come out quite well.
Considering the moulds are now about 40 years old, not as bad as some other kits that are still around.
Size - mine is now on display and cant be measured, but I estimate 15-16" wingspan and 13-14" long.
