This Mk II Gladiator is not the RODEN KIT but the ancient LINDBERG kit in 48 scale. It is finished in the Nth Africa campaign of an aircraft opperated by 3 Sqn RAAF during 1942. This Sqn had 3 of these aircraft as hacks. Only the tail bracing and alieron guides have been added to the kit. I was thinking of doing another of these based on Malta, adding all the left overs from the Eduard Swordfish PE set and brass wire rigging.

Another good 'un Rob, excellent work. I always think the Gladiator looks better in desert camo.
I notice the car is still under attack from feathered stukas. :-)

Being primarily an armor guy, my experience with ac is at best minimal, but I know when I see a well done model, and you have that with this Gladiator. Congrats on a fine looking build.

Another lovely build!

The Lindberg kit (modified from the 1960s Inpact original) can still hold its own against Roden's Gladiator. I've got a couple stashed away... fine kits and great value for money.

Nice build. I like the later biplane fighters, but me and these models don't go to well together so I'll have to make do with looking at examples like your's....
