The luggage container going thru the engine just goes to show how they really take care of it. It's just another way that they send it off to a different destination! :-)

I've actually worked on the DC-8 on approach with the open carco door. ABX purchased it from the South American co-op that performed that particular aerial feat, and it now flies with the U.S. tail no. N814AX. Don't worry, the Main cargo door torque box & fittings were all inspected and/or replaced... :-)
