Does your question have anything to do with your name?

EVERYTHING!

It is my way of limiting how many kits I buy and try to build

Hi Sharksmouth

I've seen pics of an Fw 190 with a kind of shark's mouth and big, staring eyes - I don't know if that's the one you mean... one ref says it was an A-2.

SS-74, the "Iraqi" Bf 110s were Luftwaffe aircraft flying in support of the1941 uprising. Most of the Bf 110s were from 4./ZG 76 with their insignia and national markings overpainted.

All the best

Sounds like the one I thought was an A3. Was it in France? If so, they are the same Butcherbird.

Thanks for explaining the Iraqi Bf-110s

Hi Sharkmouth

It gets even more interesting! I've just reviewed Jagdwaffe Vol. 4, Pt. 1 which has photos ot two different Fw 190s with the face on the nose.

The first pic is thought to be of an aircraft of II./JG 1. The second aircraft was flown by Oblt. Harry Koch of 7./JG1.

Hope this helps.
