G'day Folks,

This Tamiya 48 scale M6A1 is straight from the box, it's finished in the xtra colour paint range for Imperial Japanes Navy aircraft, these aircraft had very little opperational flying as the war ended just on the time they were entering service.

i like it ,

a clean build, but, maybe a bit too clean, even if they didnt seen much fight, surely there would be some schraches, oil spils, engine exehaust smoke...

but if u wanted it Out of the Factory u made it EXCELLENT

Yep. It does look very clean to me. Add some washes on the recesses and highlight the edges.

Hi Rob

Both this and your Hien are excellent builds. I must admit I'd try to pull out the panel lines a bit on both of them.

I know the Seirans were virtually factory-fresh at the War's end, but all modelling is about artistic licence really, and I do think some subtle shading would make a great build look better still.

Seeing the stage the model's at, I'd be very tempted to try a bit of BrandydogUK's Panel Lines With Pencil ... I'm certainly going to give his technique a try in future!

Hope this helps

Rowan
