Here's my old Otaki Hien. I scratched most of the cockpit using photos from a Ki-61 evaluated by Air Intel. Otaki (now Arii) 1/48. I detailed the cockpit--please see the pix elsewhere in gallery--and detailed landing gear door interiors. Sporting the kit's old decals over silver Polly Scale; next came the field applied Polly S IJAAF green.

If you took some pics along the way, maybe we could tempt you into writing a feature article to help and encourage anyone faced with tackling an empty "office"...

Seriously, great looking plane, love the job you did on the cockpit. And yes, some scratchbuilding details would be useful. I haven't been brave enough to try anything like that yet.
