I like the fact that in the lower pic it appears that the A/C is launching (catapylt steam, blast shield, crew in launch positions), but the silly bird is quite obviously still chained to the deck! :-) :-) :-)

Probably made out of OSB board. In any case if the hooked it up to the cat it would fly one way or the other. Maybe not far but it would still fly...
