According to reference photos I have of BF-109E ' s the wheels are sort of angled to be parallel with the landing gear. As I was test fitting the resin wheels I am using, I find that the wheels seem to want to sit in an upright position, as opposed to angled with the landing gear. What can I do to fix this before I glue the wheels in place? I hope the above photo helps explain my problem.
Thanks

can't you take the wheel off and shape/sand the stub out to the correct angle?

Ok I'll ask the silly question here.
Does it matter what side each wheel goes on. Is there a left or right wheel? Because the wheels are suppose to be angled. The hole in the hubs maybe molded different to give you this angle already.
I only ask this because I myself have put a left sided piece on the right side and vice versa.
If not it sounds like Mikeli has the best solution.

Here is a question......
Is anyone other than you actually going to notice this???
I mean yeah when you look at it through a magnifying glass up close with those lines drawn in, I can tell that if the gear would work...that the gear is too long.
But let me ask you this......when its sitting on its wheels...does the plane sit level?????
If it does...then leave it as it is....no one is going to notice...cause no one is going to look at it that close.
Would not be something that would be noticed at a contest, unless you have some really anal judges...that carry around the pen lights and dental mirrors.
