I am still smiling from ear to ear from this last weekend

I went to an air show in my area which is usually always a great show. But this year was extra special for me.
I have some pics that for this thread I'll call my 'Reference for anyone looking for paint schemes for Japanese WWII aircraft'. I am about to burst from the excitement and just had to share with everyone.
At the air show this year was a group called 'Tora, Tora, Tora'. It was eight Japanese planes ((4 zeros, 1 Val Dive Bomber, 3 Torpedo Planes (Oscars?)) who, through the magic of one's imagination, reenact the attack on Pearl Harbor with pyro technics and lots of explosions and smoke. VERY COOL

If you go to my link below I have some pics of the Japanese planes along with a few other of the better pics I took there too. Go to my 'Digital Photogrophy' Link. There is a good shot of a P-51 called 'Cripes a' Mighty' which is authentic 100% original WWII with the gunbelts still in the wings. All the pics from 'Cripes a' Mighty ' to the end of that section are new pics from this years air show.
Anyone trying to decide on a paint scheme for either a Zero, Val, or Oscar might take a look. One of the Oscars has a really neat paint scheme. The 'Cripes a' Mighty' would make an awfully good paint scheme for someone doing a P-51 also. It was a beautiful, mirror-shiny, plane.
Oh.....and by the way, make sure to look at the picture of the guy sitting in the cockpit of the P-51 called 'Gunfighter" (which is also WWII vintage, but not totally authentic) I got a picture of the worlds most famous WWII P-51 fighter pilot with a total of 4,555,264 kills by the name of.....
OK OK :-)

At the show, for 5 bucks, you could get your picture taken sitting in the cockpit of the P-51 Gunfighter. There was NO WAY I was going to pass that up

Well

Hope you enjoy the pics and good modeling to all,
Wayne
