Hi all,

I am planning to scratchbuild a F6F-3 Hellcat Cockpit. However, I don't have any reference pictures to do the same. Anybody know of some, or can you post them up somewhere?

I do have a book by Mike Ashey, where he explains how to scratchbuild a F4F Wildcat cockpit(1/48). Are the cockpit details for both the F4F and F6F same?

Help would be greatly appreciated. TIA ...

BP.

The "Detail in Scale" books would work for this type of project.

If I have it I could scan the section on the cockpit for you if you have no luck finding one.

Hi m1garand,

The link that you gave me (rendersworld) was pretty good. It gives a good idea of the instrumentation. Thanks a lot !

Salt6, I would appreciate it if you could get me the scan . This is b'cos I need the details of the seat and its frames etc.

Rgds,
BP.
