Here is my Hasegawa FW-190D under construction.
It's built mostly OOB but I have added some minor details to the cockpit and wheelwells to make it look better - this kit is fabulous OOB and while the various resin tubs available are super - the kit pit paints up very very nicely.

I added some wire and "grunged" up the engine bay, and added my own spent shell chutes.

The wing on this one is NMF - here is my Floquil "old silver" NMF..

I am really getting into 1/32 scale because detail work is so visible, and much easier to appreciate.

Hi Frank. Where'd you get the idea for the red and blue instrument bezels?

Mike,
I got the idea from my references.
The blue beezles are the oxygen stuff (I know that because I recognize the flow regulator from every single 109 I have ever built). Not sure why the others are outlined in Red (some have yellow as well) - better ask Jerry Crandal bout that.

Hi Frank
That's looking very nice! I've also noticed the red/brown colour of some of the bezels in pics of peserved aircraft - I wondered if maybe they were made of Bakelite and the black paint had worn off...
I'm looking forward to seeing the partly n/m finish on the undersides. Late-war German n/m is often said to have been a lot duller than on Allied aircraft.
All the best
Rowan

Mosquitos in RAF service had gaudy coulours on their instrument panels too. Nice work by the way.
