Help, I just sprayed my Super Frelon with gloss acrylic craft paint to give it a cleaner look after some minor repairs. The glass on it fogged all the way around. I have never had this happen before. I tried to regloss some with brushed on Testors glosscoat and no joy. Any suggestions or does anyone have the glass for a Heller 1/35 Super Frelon?

Heller's flash service is pretty good. I've done the clip the coupon and mail to France thing before with good results. Now I imagine you could check their website and do it via the net. IIRC their service was rather fast.

Rob,
You wouldn't happen to have a web link or mailing address for Heller, would you? The directions were gone from this kit many, many moons ago and I acn't find a web site for them.

Gino:
Have you tried brushing some future on the glass.
I recently built a car model for a friend of mine. There was some fogging on the side windows that was modled on the glass where the frames were suppose to be.
I dipped the window in future and let it dry. When I looked at it all the fogging on the window was gone and the window was clear as a bell. So I had to end up eyeballing and freehanding the frames on the back.
Hope this helps
Paul

My first real model, I sprayed on a gloss coat for the decals like you are supposed to do. Well, no one told me I was supposed to mask the windows before putting the flat coat back on! The result:
Of course, no one then told me not to scrape it off with an x-acto knife! Fortunately, I was able to sort of get the worst off, but then again, it is sort of a blessing as my cockpit sucked

All,
I went to the Heller web site on the 15th and told them what had happened and asked for replacement parts and heard nothing back. Lo and behold, today I went to the mailbox and find a priority air mail box from Heller containing the complete set of clear parts for my Super Frelon. Great Service, Thank you Heller.
