The new book from Steve Ginter will be a real help to anyone building the Grumman Goose.

Murphy''s Law dictated that I''d only find the book after I''d written the Czech Model kit review. It clears up the mystery of the clear bisters, and the 1/48 scale plans give a much better opportunity to judge the kit, so I''ve ammended to the text slightly to include the new info.
