Hi there

I know we're supposed to book leave... just kidding!

Seriously, I'll be away from July 24th 'till Aug 9/10th. I've asked for cover on the Staff Desk, but I'm not sure what the arrangements will be.

I may be able to log in now and then, but it'll be via the local library, so I won't be able to do much site-wise...

I've decided to go a bit mad and do a Para-Gliding course! It sounds fun, and typing on Armorama should still be possible while the broken limbs heal...

Cheers everyone

Yes and like parachuting make sure you don't have any shape objects in your trouser pockets, that way when you bend down to kiss your rearend good-bye you won't hurt yourself. :-)

Seriously, take care and come back and support the Reviews and Armorama in general in the same great way you have so far.

"If at first you don't succeed, then paragliding is not for you!!!!"
Have fun Rowan.

Rowan you're incredibly brave to go paragliding. Don't forget if anything goes wrong I've baggied your airbrush setup.
Hope you have fun and return in one piece.

Cheers guys

I'm not sure how hard the landings are... but, judging by the hefty accident cover...

A couple of weeks with no Armorama (or very little, anyway...) will be weird, but I'm looking forward to seeing plenty of new Aircraft submissions when I get back!

All the best

Hi Davy

I'm afraid it's nowhere very exotic... the Isle of Wight actually!

It's my family home and I'm kind of obliged to visit, so I thought "If I can't go somewhere exciting... I'll DO something exciting!"

All the best

Hey, Rowan! If the Para-gliding gets too mundane, perhaps you could try out a Rotachute- Or a Rotabuggy! :-) :-)

Hi Robert

I was just about to send you a PM. I've e-mailed Middle Wallop asking if there's any restrictions on photography, but they haven't replied... so I'll just wade in 'till I'm stopped!

All the best
