I was taking pics of my work area & happened to have this on the bench so I thought I'd post it - just so everyone can see I don't just haunt the threads & talk alot. This is an old (early '80s) LS Hobbies F-14 that I slapped together for one of the Veterans in my Office. The kit had no cockpit & I had a deadline so I fell back on the old "paint the inside of the canopy" trick. It has seen some rough times here, and an errant rubberband knocked it off the desk & cracked the canopy among other things. I've towed it into the Hangar for some Depot level maintenance & while it's here I've decided to rectify some of it's shortcomings:
Scratching the cockpit;
Vacuforming a new canopy;
Correcting the Decals to Low-Vis( tied cheating w/ a sharpie
)
Drilling out gunport & vents;
Detailing landing gear w/hoses & wiring;
Maybe drop& redline the flaps.
So- by all means, wade in & tear it apart!
Oh-forgot to mention it's 1:144 scale. Enjoy!

Thats really good for 1:144, great job with the panel lines and weathering considering its scale, cheers!
