Anyone know where I can get some modern pilot or airfield ground crew figures in 1/32 or 1/35 ??

Ground crew figures are tough to come by, but there are some pretty decent seated pilots in the Tamiya 1/32 F-15E kit, complete with HGU-55 helmets. You can order the sprues by calling Tamiya. There are alos some good pilots in the Tomcat and Phantom kits, but they sport the earlier style HGU-33 helmets.

Reheat also makes some nice standing pilots, but the poses are a bit limited. As far as ground crew figures go, they shoud actually be fairly easy to convert from various figure sets.

Are there any 32 scale German Luftwaffe pilots out there? I would like to make one look like Adolf Galland to set beside my Bf109...

I know this isn't what everyone wants to hear, but here goes . . . .lol

Occasionally you can still find the old Airfix multipose 1/32 figure sets out there -- British, German, U.S. infantry, USMC, etc. -- with separate heads, arms, legs, upper bodies, boots, pouches, packs, small arms -- that make good raw material for all sorts of scratchbuilt figures.
