i would love to build a black hawk down dio. i have two academy black hawk kits. what should i use for the ranger and delta force soldiers, and a few somalia malitia men. i'v seen the movie many times to build up the building on the street. my big ?? is to do a crash site or a fast rope in. if the crash site, does anyone have pics of the real crash site of the super 61 or super 64. what should i us to build a somalia technical. i plan to do this in 1/35 scale. yes this is going to be big. anyhow i hope someone can help me with some ideas and insight in the project.

Joe-
First off, try this thread: https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/33597&page=1. It was a past discussion about Rangers and D-Force soldiers in Somalia. In it is also a link to a website that has multiple reference pics and the true story of what happened on October 3, 1993. Unfortunately there is only one picture of the ground op from the ground in existence, so there won't be any ground perspective shots of either Super 61 or 64's crash site. As far as ideas go, my suggestion would be to do a fast rope dio. A crash scene seems a little too involved and would involve cutting up your Blackhawk. Yikes.
