hi fellows, this quick little build was on the bench along with the Whirlwind. this is Tamiya's 1/48 Bf109E-4. She's OOB and i just had fun with some extreme weathering. i picked the kit up from Hobby Lobby's 1/2 off sale so i didn't feel bad about "wasting" one. later.

Thats a great pattern on the side. Very subtle but upon closer look seems very intricate.

WOW
If you call that one wasted I would love to see one of your serious works :-) :-)
That looks awesome and I also really want to know know you did the camo on the side.
Great Job,
Wayne

thanks for your kind words fellows!! the camo on the sides was done with a very small detail brush loaded with very small amounts of paint. when the brush is loaded, i just did a criss crossing motion and alternated to an up and down to circular to dots, barely letting the brush hit the surface of the subject.
Wayne, i'm proud of my efforts friend, i just didn't know how it was gonna turn out, so i was taking a chance so to speak. thanks. later.
