Special Hobby have answered the prayers of fans of early jets by releasing a 1/48 scale injection moulded kit of the Gloster E28/39 Pioneer - the first British jet to fly.

It's a really nice little kit. My main reference for the review was Jet Pioneers, by Tim Kershaw; I'll add a separate review for the book, but I recommend it for anyone interested in the Pioneer.
