Can anyone tell me the RAL no of the yellow colour that you see the Me 109 engine cowlings painted in?

Hi Davy

I've got references for both RLM 04 and RLM 27 being used, but most state RLM 04. According to Michael Ullman's "Luftwaffe Colours 1935-1945":

RLM 04 = RAL 1004
RLM 27 = RAL 1003
