I dont see how you 1/72 scale modelers do it..The langing gear, wheels etc are so small,,one slip of the exacto knife and your hosed. This scale even seems to small to be using an airbrush for camo painting.....

Im going back to 1/48

Three words
1. Snips
2. Magnifying glass
3. Small needle in the AB

It does take a bit of practice and patince. It can be a lot of fun though.

I started model building in the days when there was nothing else but 1/72nd.
I still do only this scale out of habit mostly and room to store finished kits.
1/48th must be easier in some ways...bigger parts...or at least on the surface. As 1/48th is bigger it lends itself to ever increasing amounts of detail, otherwise they can look a little plain.

1/72nd wheels can't be anymore difficult than say the throttle levers in a 1/48th cockpit surely...lol.
It must be psychological.

I agree with whats already been suggested...take your time, be patient and be sure before you snip.

Cheers
Peter
