As we continue to expand our line of Colourcoats enamels, I've just ordered the following into production:
ACUS 24 Dull Dark Green, matched to a sample kindly provided by Dana Bell. This interior color used during WW2 into the early '50s.
ACRN 17 "Night", used on WW2 RAF aircraft.
ACRN 18 Olive Green, currently used on British Chinooks, etc.
ACRN 19 RAF Blue-Gray, currently used on Lynxes and other helos.
All the above matched to the appropriate BSC reference.
ACJ 19 ID Yellow, matched to Munsell notations from j-aircraft; this is the wing ID color used on Japanese WW2 aircraft.
You can pre-order now, with no charge made until we actually ship your order.
Cheers,
John Snyder

Hi John
Excellent news on the additions to the range!
Mal is working on a detailed review of Colourcoats but, in the meantime, you can see the excellent results he's had on his Hawker Typhoon.
All the best

Yes John, I can confirm that I have had wonderful results with Colourcoates paints. I must appologies for not having the review done yet but home and work commitments have conspired to thwart my attempts. I will try and get it done this week end, DIY and boss permitting
In the meantime anyone considering using these paints can do so with confidence, they are an excellant colour match and can be applied, trouble free, with an airbrush. See the freehand camo on my Typhoon. This excellant paint flowed free, throughout the session, even at the low pressures (0.5 bar) that I prefer to spray with. Thin with "bog standard" white spirit (good quality white spirit is recommended, but I found the added expence unnecessary), thin 50/50 white spirit/cellulose thinner for more rapid drying. The paint is certainly dry after 24 hours just using white spirit. 6 hours recommended between coates.
Highly recommended
