Hi there

Michael Wolfe has posted the latest pics of his 1/48 scale Wolfpack diorama.

I think you'll agree... this looks set to be incredible when it's finished!

Hi guys, first things first. A BIG THANK YOU to Merlin[Rowan Baylis] for posting these pics. Shain and Angela, the cockpit detail is straight from the box thanks to Tamiya. The instrument dials were punched out from the decal sheet with a Waldron punch set[VERY COOL]. The figs are from Verlinden with Bare-Metal Foil belts. THANKS for looking and the kind comments, Wingman out.

Chip. One of them is going to be Col. David Schillings aircraft and the other is going to be Gabreskis aircraft. The color scheme will be Dark Green and Medium Grey camo with Light Grey lower surfaces. Both will have a Red cowling. I think I'm going to chuck the props in my drill and run some steel wool over them to try and blur them some more. This was my first attempt at simulating prop spin, practice, practice, practice. The two aircraft will be on their way to the runway, one behind the other with a crewman sitting or laying on the wing guiding the pilot along. I'll try to post some more pics when I'm further along. THANKS for the nice comments and having a look,Wingman out.

THANKS David. The cockpit detail in this Tamiya P-47 is OUTSTANDING! When there is nice raised detail it makes so much easier to paint. This morning[Sunday], I attached the gear doors to the landing gear and the tailplanes to the tail section. Next up will be some carefull masking in the cockpit, wheelwells and engine cowling. Than a coat of primer. THANKS for looking and the kind words,Wingman out.

THANKS for the kind words Antonio. I think I'm going to try and use black emory paper for the taxiway with dirt borders and then grass extending to the edge of the diorama base. The paper is going to have to lie nice and flat to look convincing though. I'll try it and see what happens. Anyone with ideas out there, let's hear 'em, Wingman out.

THANKS for the nice comments guys. Pedro, the heads and upper bodies and one arm on each pilot are from Verlinden. The other arms and the legs are from CMK. Hope that makes sense, THANKS for looking guys,Wingman out.
