This is the RG 1/48 Hurricane MK.IIC, I like the kit! Me thinks its a Hasegawa molding. Most of the kit is built, just got the scheme painted on. next comes the decals, then I can start adding the landing gear and all the detail. Did I mention this is a nice kit? I like it enough that I want to build more! Here is the pic's

Hi Garry,
Nice neat paintwork, although the grey camo looks slightly blue to me, it could be the photo's colour balance?
I never do aircraft with this scheme as for the life of me I can't paint the yellow leading edges. I struggle to mask it properly and then struggle to paint the yellow. Yours looks perfect.

Hello Martin,
First, thanks for your comments! And yes it is a bluish gray paint. But it turns out more blue in the photo. I think it must be my lighting, next time I will take it outside to take pic's. The yellow on the leading edge's was hand brushed on, as was the rest of the paint job.
Cheers,
Garry

That's looking pretty nice. I can't see any seams.( I usually have problems with the wing roots) One of my favorite aircraft, I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Hi Garry: Your camo looks very good. Do you just freehand it or did u mask it first and then handpaint it? Also what was the underside color? Nice job!

Hi...
Hand job looking good.
I agree with the blue-grey comment. Photo lighting can play many a trick..lol.
Painting the yellow leading edge?
Did you paint it first then mask before the rest of the camo?
Cheers

Hello Ryan,
Yes I painted the camo on freehand, seems like all that masking would just take the fun out of the build!LOL.
The underside of the plane I painted with nuetral gray, which apeared to be a match to my eye. Thanks for your good words

Hi Peter!
Thank you mate! I masked the leading edge for the yellow after I had painted on the camo. Some yellow blead thru the tape in the panel lines and had to be touched up. Next time I will make a better seal in these area's.
Cheers for now,
Garry

I am impressed. Even when I hand paint my AC I still mask it off. That is one neat job you have there. Congrats!
