Hi...
can anyone identify the engines on this Me 262 please?
I ask as there is no info supplied with the kit.
I know they are some kind of rocket motors. But any make/type ID?
They look as though they might be solid-fuel...not sure though.
Many thanks and cheers
Peter

Hi Peter
According to my refs, the Intezeptor III would have been powered by 2 x Walter HWK 509 rocket engines (the same type as used in the Me 163).
Presumably the drop tanks contained C- and T-Stoff... scary!
All the best
Rowan
