Does anyone know if the main body of the AH6 is the same as the OH6 especially in the rear area arround the doors.
Several years ago I apperantly was under the influance of something and messed up the door/upper view window pieces and glued them into the body . Now if I finish it I will either not have the upper view window or have to paint it on.
I am trying to recreate the A/C of the squadren I flew with in Nam and of course the OH6 is a big part of that.
Thanks John

Yes, the fusalage of the OH-6 and AH-6 are the same. Main external differance is in the tail, OH-6 had a "Y" shaped tail, AH-6 has a "T" shaped tail. Also, OH had 4 blade rotor, AH has 5 blade rotor. Other than that, AH-6 has upgraded engine, avionics, weapons and other added on features to the standard OH/AH-6 fusalage.
Hope that answers your question.

Hit the "nail on the head".
The kit probably uses the same mold then.
Thanks

Yup, same molds with a couple new sprues for the AH-6J specific items.
