Hi
I was wondering if any of you had ever built one of the 1/48 tamiya aircraft kits with the small electro motor included, which makes the propeller spin on touch?
Are these kits the same quality as the normal tamiya kits and are they easy to build, or are they simplified models , more suitable for young modellers??
They look pretty cool, but up to now I have not found a review of such a kits.

hey Bjorn,
I haven't built any of the "propeller action" series' kits (yet) but I know that they are the same as the standard Tamiya kits only they feature the motor and other stuff required for a working propeller model.

Hi there
Thanks to Stugiiif's generosity, I've got Tamiya's propeller-action Lancaster on the shelf ( mega thanks again Steve, if you spot this! )... something I could never have afforded at UK prices.
It's an awesome kit! All I want is a spare year to build it in...
All the best

I've not built one yet. Another model that caught my eye last year was those with the magic magnetic display. The ones that left the model suspended without wires or rods. Has anyone got one of these, or tried to make their own?
