There are many size of hakenkreuz, so I suggest you check a mail order website and order some swastika decals.

Aeromaster has some, and Techmod makes a set too!

There are also different styles as well. To answer your question correctly, the type of aircraft and the time it was flying would need to be known.
If you can say what the aircraft is I might be able to give you the measurements? The style would be up to you

I just received a copy of the Official Monogram Luftwaffe Painting Guide, or whatever its called.

What aircraft are you planning to do? It lists the Reichs Luft Ministry dimensions for whatever.

I have a set of Techmod 1/48 swastikas andf according to their paperwork the Ta 152 series had swastikas that measured 500mm on each side of the square/diamond (that the swastika would fit in) - if you follow what I am saying.

The styles were 1. narrow white border with a thin black edge; 2 narrow white border with no black edge; 3.Thick black marking with no border or edging; and 4. A narrow black marking with no border or edging.

If this doesn't make sense pm me and I will see if I can scan them - hopefully it won't upset the glue on the decals.

Does anybody know why the swastikas are included in some kits and not others?

I know some countries are not allowed to display them... but surely a scale model needs them to be accurate.

It seems really silly that the politically correct busybodies have seen fit to have the swastikas removed from scale model decal sheets.

All German (language) sites containing any reference to WW II miltaria are obliged to display a prominent disclaimer, stating that they are in no way, shape or form involved with, glorifying, or condoning anything at all to do with Nazies, Hitler , the war etc.... needless to say that displaying a swastica on a model (plane, flag or so) is an offence, probably punishable by death..
