We don''t see too many vacuforms on Armorama, but Koster Aero Enterprises'' Maryland gives a welcome chance to take a look at this sadly neglected form of kit.

Excellant review, as usual Rowan. It will be interesting to see the comparison builds. Maybe you could add the build into my online builds, that would be cool?
Have you started selling mens ware?
It looks like we have been hacked? unless rowan has started an online shop. Please don't click on the advertising link. I'm sure it aint supposed to be there. I'll get on with a trace and see if I can zap the culprit

Hi Mal

We haven't been hacked... Jim's added the advertising to reviews and news items to gauge reaction. I can't say I'm a big fan of it - in it's present form I think it distracts from the articles.

The comparison build of the FM and Koster Marylands is going to be a big project - something to run in the background. I'll post regular updates and try to compile everyhing into a Feature at the end.

All the best

Rowan

Ooops sorry Rowan, I'd seen something in the staff forum about the site being hacked, I assumed, because it was so odd, that your review had been got at. I wasn't able to take it further, i.e. ask on the staff forum cos I was trying to download my Telford pics and had started to find a problem. Another reason I wanted to highlight any possible intrusion such as this. I met a member of the site at Telford who only visits occasionally and he was concerned that the site might go the way of others and become an advertising nightmare. I assured him it would not?
I agree, I certainly don't like advertising like that. It looks odd and certainly detracts from the review. However If advertising is needed to generate income then it is possibly inevitable. Unless most members join the A-Guard? I'm also at fault here, cos I have not joined, yet. I will do but funds are tight, which is partly the price of job satisfaction. So I for one will not/could not complain if this becomes the norm, just don't like it. My ideal plan would be to win the lottery and be able to fund Armorama :-) and British bombers at Accurate Miniatures :-) OK I’m rambling now..............I'm done.
