Wow!! Is all I have to say. This is a great kit and huge. I love it so far and have only looked at it in the box. Got it on a great trade. One question, what is the cockpit color. I have seen it, but can't find a match off hand. It is a blueish-green. Any ideas. Unfortunitely, will have to wait till after Christmas to start on it, I can't wait.

Arty before you start check out PMMS and look at New Kit News WarHammer Productions. The are making a Resin Cockpit set (pictured) and A cargo bay interior as well. Good Luck with the kit! I have to wait to start mine.

Thanks, but no desire to spend more money on resin bits. The cockpit looks fine to me. I don't subscribe to the "Resin makes it better" theory anyways. I can make it look just as good from strip plastic and other bits myself.

Very True but the kit includes the quilted panles on the doors and in the cargo area. I thought the same thing the price wasn't to bad at my LHS.

If you have any interest at all in sprucing your Hind up, pick up the WWP book on the Hind. I have mine, and can't stop thinking of ways to spruce it up. I've decided though that everything that I add to the kit, will be scratchbuilt - no AM parts at all (except decals).

Haven't decided on the paint scheme yet. Sorry, it won't be the eagle scheme though.

As for the Interior color Testors makes the color you need for that.
It is called "USSR Interior Blue / Green (SG)" #2135
Hope it helps,
Scott
