Quite often in my reviews, I look at a vacuform canopy and say "Nice... but not up to Squadron/Falcon standards", or else I look at a thick injected item and hope for these guys to come to the rescue. It''s easy to make do with kit canopies... until you look at replacements like these...

Long been a fan of their vacuum formed canopies, I've stocked up on then for years. They are really great when a kit canopy just won't do because the thickness is out of scale, in 1/72 that sticks out like a sore thumb. Used one for my 109 Down just for that reason.

Hi Ollie
That was my reaction - along with Yeah! Now I don't have to sand every panel flat!
This lot arrived out of the blue this morning... suffice to say they nearly made me late for work!
All the best

Yes.
My B-29 is an already built kit given to me, I'll rebuild it.
Can't wait to start it!

Thanks Rowan, I hadn't realised the B-29 kit had inaccurate transparancies, looks like I'll be getting this too :-)

Hi Mal
I remember good old Scale Models pointing out the problem with the B-29 canopy back in the '70s - correcting it was a job I wasn't looking forward to... if I ever finally managed to build the kit - it's probably been on the shelf for 15 years!
What surprised me was the B-25 canopies - I hadn't heard of an accuracy problem with this one...
I've got a couple of Mitchells sat there begging to be built - I'm running out of excuses...
All the best
