Well, it sure is good to be back here on the big "A" !!! I have finally moved into our new place and have our phone service hooked up again. I am currently working on a 1/48 scale A-12 Shrike from Czech Models. The kit comes with vacuum form canopies and a resin cockpit. So far there seems to be allot of fit pproblems with this kit, but I am still having fun building it.
Well, I just thought I would drop a few lines to say "Hi" to all of you.

Howdy Penny,
Mighty glad to see you back in the 'fold' once more. You have been missed.
And, if you plan on applying the same attention to your A-12 build up as you did to your 109 model (shamelessly posted below) then I'm quite sure you have nothing to worry your cute wee head about......
Just make sure you post the ever enjoyable 'in-progress' pics....kay?

Cool - we never talked much on a personal level - it's still nice to see a familiar name in the thread list.

A12 is certainly not the usual kit we see around here. Plenty of Hellcats, Corsairs, ME109s.

Hi Penny
it's great to hear from you again and I'm glad your move has gone well.
I was actually thinking about starting either the A-8 or A-12 the other day... but with time at a premium I decided to stick with my Koster/FM Maryland head-to-head!
Keep us up to date - as a total short-run fan, I can't wait to see how your build turns out.
All the best
Rowan
