The flash hood is hollow and will be CNC drilled (this is just hand drilled and not too well; I'm must be getting too old for this manual stuff)
The hood will be drilled on a new 4 axis machine I'm making now
close up of the muzzle; the brass here is just 1/2mm thick; the muzzle cap is pressed on; the barrel is drilled to the first taper to leave the 1/2mm then drilled scale 50mm as is the muzzle cap
