Hi Erik,

After a bit of research I found out that 18 and 342 Squadrons also flew the Boston IV.

13, 18, 55, and 114 Squadrons were all based in Italy and were on the move almost every month from June 1944 onwards.

88 Sqn were based at Hartford Bridge when they were equipped with this type. In June 1944 they were sent over to France to landing strip B50 at Vitry-en-Artois, 15 miles south of Lille. The Squadron was disbanded on 6th April 1945.

342 Squadron received their Boston IVs in August 1944 at Hartford Bridge and in October of that year they too moved out to B50. These aircraft were replaced in March 1945 by Mitchell IIs.

I hope some of this info is useful to you.

Harri.
