Italeri 1/72 F-14, is it any good?

A local hobby shop has this for half off, is this kit any good? One of the main things I look for in aircraft is recessed panel lines, does anyone know if it has raised or recessed panel lines? Thanks for the help.

I've done alot of Italeri stuff including this one.
Yes, its a good kit. Nice detail, pretty good fit and nice markings.
However, I can't remember if the panel lines are recessed or not.

For what it is worth, their F14A Bombcat kit #1202 has raised panel lines, but the cockpit detail is better than the non-existant details in the F15E kit. Decals are so-so..

you might try Model Expo, they were having Italeri 1/72 a/c kits for half off, which is why I have an F15E and F14A..
