Here some of the extra work that went on the fuselage, then the cockpit in place.

More pics are in my gallery under "helicopter"

Nice Job so far Mother. Did you find you had to weigh down the nose of this model. I have two in my stash and I always wondered would it sit right?

Joe, Looking great. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Scott, I have built three different versions of the DML OH-6A/MH-6J/MD-500 and have not had to weight any of them. It sits just fine on its own. Great kit.

G'day Jo.
Hell...thats superb, the scratchbuilding, the effort and attention to detial, the seatbelts are REALLY good!
Its good to see that youve built ther two halfs first then slapped in the cockpit, i didnt know if this could be done, now knowing it can thatll help me alot.
So I think youve done a GREAT job so far, and i cant wait to see it finished!
cheers

Most impressive work!

Building an helicopter is always harder than a plane, since you need to put extra efforts in the interior since it'll be highly visible. But it's worth every once of sweating!
