which is a better and a more detailed 1/48 kit..?? does italeri kit have the device sticking out of the engine(sorry i dont know the name)?

Of those two I would choose.... Hasegawa! :-)

I don't know Italeri kit, but Academy one has inaccurate, AH-64A cockpit. Hasegawa is MUCH better than any other 1/48 Apache, but is also much more expensive... Worth the price IMHO however.
