Hi,

I'm trying to find a very simple piece of information. What colour do I paint the missiles supplied with the 1/72 Hobbycraft kit of this aircraft? I'm looking at all sorts of webpages dedicated to this aircraft and they all say that it had the capability of carrying six sidewinder missiles. The Hobbycraft kit has four missiles on four pylons and I don't think they are sidewinders because they do not have the front set of fins. What's up with this configuration?

I'd say air-to-ground rockets, like HVARs.

OK. So what colour are these things? I can't find any decent photos on the web.

Well I did find a few photos but they were all in US service. I did see one photo of this model with the missiles attached and they were white with a black nose, so that's what I went with.

Sorry for the delay, I was away on a trip to bring a Cessna Caravan to Canada...

Yeah, go with white bodies and black noses, and if anyone tells you it's not right, ask them for a picture of the real thing OR a picture of one of their models!
