Top notch! One thing i like very much about the Luft 46 series is taht you also show the aircraft from above. Most aircraft profiles only show the plane from the side so you can not see the camo on the wings.

Hi Johnny...
Sort of.
The designs are of secret project designs that the German's had on the drawing board, as mock-ups/models or even as pre-production prototypes.
The monica Luft 46 is a title commonly used to describe what might have been in the air if WW2 had gone on longer than 45. It covers not just German stuff but all Nation's airforces involved at the time.
The colours are based on real RLM colours.
You can read the explanation in full by going to Part 1 in features.
Hope its more undestandable now....lol..
Cheers

Hi Johnny
These are "might have beens". As the name suggests, Luft(waffe) '46 is all about the German designs which existed on paper at the end of WW2.
If you follow Peter's series, you'll see how he's developed his theories on what colours might have been used, had WW2 continued. In fact, some of the field-mixes are possibly relevent to the non-standard schemes which appeared on German aircraft for real in 1945.
All the best
Rowan
