Do you remember when I post some pics of my F6F-5 Hellcat
Well, some people asked me "Why donīt you weathering it?"
And I answer that "I wouldnīt in this model"...
But, something was wrong...really the model was very "shinning" to stand in a deck (and with battle marks)...
How to fix it?
Well guys, it was simple... I put it in a museum...the title is "Well-earned rest"
I hope you enjoy it....
Cheers

Great way to avoid weathering! Very creative! You don't often see little vignettes like this

Very nice idea. I really like it and can see some others (maybe even me) borrowing your idea.
Where did you get the 'plain clothes' figures?

Hi guys, thank you for the compliments...
I think that this was the best way to keep it shinning :-) :-) :-)
Leon the figures is the Revell 1:48 P-61 Black Widow and the Tamiya 1:48 A6M-5C Zero.
I had that made some modifications: arm of the Zero figure and some sand in her pants for
remove the pockets and canteen...I donīt know if exist a civilians figures in this scale...I guess not..
Cheers
