Could some one please give me the dimensions of the blue star of david and white circle found on early IAF aircraft in 1/48 scale. The diameter of the circle and the point to point length of the star will be sufficient.

It depends... Different sizes on different planes. Different sizes on the fuselage vs the wings. Different models (one with a big shield of david that almost filled the roundel, one with a smaller "star"...). Which one do you need? What are you building?!?

I am planning to build the Canadiar Sabres that the Israelis ordered from Canada but never recieved. Apparently they were painted up in IAF colors and were about to be deliverd when the US placed pressure on Canada and the order cancelled.

Wow, then it is tough. As I understand it, only one of the 24 Canadian Sabers that were ordered by Israel in 55' was ever painted... and none delivered.

Also, I think that you'd may be helped if you look at the other fighers used by Israel at the time (Dassault Ouragan, Mystère etc). I'm sure that IsraDecals or some other company has the proper sized roundels for you! Good luck!
